TP Southern Odisha Distribution Limited (TPSODL) took a significant step towards fostering skill development and promoting safety practices by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Government ITI Jeypore. This strategic alliance aims to bridge the gap between academic learning and industry requirements for ITI students, thereby enhancing their skills and preparing them for the demands of the industry.
The MoU signing ceremony, held at the Corporate Office, was graced by the presence of TPSODL CEO Amit Kumar Garg and Gopabandhu Industrial Training Institute-Ambaguda Principal Rajib Lochan Dash. Under this collaborative effort, specialized training will be imparted to students focusing on industry-specific skills while prioritizing safety measures. Access to state-of-the-art hands-on training facilities, designed to replicate real-life scenarios, along with a blend of classroom and practical sessions, will be provided to ITI students.
“Our core objective behind this initiative is to elevate the skills of the future workforce. Such partnerships undoubtedly pave the way for nurturing a highly proficient professional workforce. By instilling a culture of skill development and emphasizing safety standards, we aim to empower them,” remarked Amit Kumar Garg, the CEO of TPSODL.
This marks the fourth MoU signed by TPSODL with Industrial Training Institutes, following similar collaborations with Berhampur, Hinjilicut, and Rayagada ITIs, showcasing their commitment to fostering a skilled workforce across the region.
