Tata Power Southern Odisha Distribution Limited (TPSODL) recently spearheaded a blood donation camp in collaboration with MKCG Medical College at its Khodasingi office in Berhampur. The initiative was geared towards replenishing blood banks and providing vital support to individuals in need of life-saving transfusions, resulting in the collection of 110 units of blood.
TPSODL CEO, Amit Kumar Garg, alongside other senior officials, took an active role in the camp, reaffirming the company’s dedication to community welfare. Employees of TPSODL eagerly volunteered for the program, showcasing their unwavering commitment to the cause.
Sharing his sentiments, CEO Amit Kumar Garg remarked, “Our collaborative endeavor in organizing this blood donation camp underscores our commitment to making a tangible impact in the community. Through this initiative, we not only save lives but also foster a culture of compassion and solidarity within our organization.”
The blood donation drive was a part of the ongoing Tata Volunteering Week Program. Tata Volunteering Week (TVW), celebrated biannually over a four-week period, aims to inspire and empower Tata volunteers, including employees, their families, and retirees, to actively participate in volunteering activities and consider sustained engagement in community service.
