As part of its corporate social responsibility, Aditya Birla Group company Ultratech Cement extended support to the flood victims in Odisha.
Recently, Ultratech Cement handed over tarpaulins and gas cylinders to the people of Kaspa village in Jajpur district where 10 wards of the villages were submerged in flood water due to breach of the riverbank. The relief materials were handed over to the Kaspa Gram Panchayat Sarpanch Pravat Nayak by Ultratech Cement General Manager Ashok Pattnaik in presence of the villagers.
Informing about this philanthropic initiative, Ultratech Cement (East) COO Ashis Panpalia said, “Our Group always believes in giving back to society. We are always with the people of Odisha; and as a welfare measure we have extended this support to the people who are affected due to the heavy flood in the State.” Our CSR initiatives will continue in the state, added Panpalia.
