The Aditya Birla Group company Ultratech Cement’s Cuttack plant has started its commercial production from Monday.
The first dispatch of the cement plant was inaugurated jointly by Amitabh Pandey, Zonal Head of Sales & Marketing along with Susnata Mohanty, Team Lead DIPA, IPICOL.
The first production was dedicated to the service of Lord Jagannath and the first truckload of cement was sent to the Sri Jagannath Temple, informed Dr. Bibhudatta Mahapatra, Vice President (Corporate Communications & Media Relations) of Aditya Birla Group.
In the inauguration ceremony, Peeyush Kumar, Zonal Head-Logistics, Dinesh Gupta, Project Head, Ashok Pattanaik, Head-Liasoining, Kartikeyan, Regional Head Marketing and Bidhan Swain, Samiti Member of Radhakishorepur were present.
Located in Khamrnuagaon and Kolathpangi mouza under Athgarh subdivision in Cuttack district, this Ultratech Cement grinding unit has the capacity of 2.2 MTPA, said Mahapatra.
