In honour of International Women’s Day 2025, Paradip Sakshyarata Samity organized an inspiring event at the Officers’ Club, bringing together influential leaders and community members to celebrate women’s empowerment and achievements.
The event, which featured motivational speeches and prize distributions, was graced by A.K. Bose, Advisor (Traffic), Paradip Port Authority (PPA), as the Chief Guest. Alongside him, esteemed Guests of Honour Suchismita Bose, Smruti Swain, Additional Executive Officer of Paradip Municipality, and A.K. Sahu, Sr. DTM, PPA, acknowledged the remarkable contributions of women in various fields and encouraged further progress in their empowerment.
A key highlight of the day was the collaboration between the Port Club, Ladies Wing, and local health officials. In a bid to promote sustainability and environmental awareness, the Ladies Wing organized a tree plantation drive at the Urban Primary Health Center in Paradip. The drive was attended by the President, Secretary, Treasurer, and other dedicated members of the group, showcasing a shared commitment to both gender equality and environmental stewardship.
A.K. Bose expressed his admiration for the initiative, noting that such events not only inspire women but also serve to bring communities closer to the sustainability goals we all strive to achieve. “Women have always been at the forefront of change. Their resilience, determination, and drive for a better future continue to shape our world,” he said during his speech.
This gathering underscored the importance of both celebrating women’s achievements and ensuring a sustainable future.
