Swayamsiddha Ladies Club donates sanitary pad vending machine, incinerator to St Michael’s Blind School

RANCHI, NOV 8, 2022

On the occasion of the 48th NTPC Raising Day celebration on November 7, Swayamsiddha Ladies Club distributed Sanitary Pad Vending Machine and Incinerator for better hygiene and comfort among the adolescent resident girls of St. Michael’s Blind School, Ranchi under its CSR initiative.

Distribution was held under the guidance of NTPC Coal Mining HQ Swayamsiddha Ladies Club President Mahua Mazumder in the presence of members of the Club, school management and children.

A health check-up camp was also organized for school under the aegis of Swayamsiddha Ladies Club and Medical team headed by Dr. K Padhan, CMO, NTPC Pakri Barwadih Mines.  As many as 85 children’s health checkups were done with free distribution of general medicines like multivitamins and iron supplements.

The initiative of the Ladies Club was highly appreciated by St. Michael’s Blind School Principal Sarita Talal and the beneficiaries.

Senior committee members of Ladies Club — Sanchita Konar, Lakshmi Murthy, Kiran Dubey, Smitha Wilson, Snigdha Majhi, Reshma Behera and Mansa Verma — were present on the occasion.
