AMRI Hospitals Bhubaneswar observes National Fire Safety Week

 A series of programmes aimed at spreading awareness about fire safety was organised by city-based AMRI Hospitals from April 14 to 20 to mark the National Fire Safety Week.

Expressing the importance of observing National Fire Service Week, AMRI Hospitals Bhubaneswar Vice President & Unit Head Nilanjana Mukherjee said, “Safety is an integral part of AMRI Hospitals’ work culture. All of us should make efforts to make AMRI Hospitals a safest workplace.” “Not only during this Fire Safety Week, but throughout the year, AMRI Hospitals Bhubaneswar is conducting the fire mock drill,” she added.

Odisha Fire Safety & Disaster Response Academy (OFDRA) Principal Ramesh Chandra Majhi who graced the valedictory session of the week-long observance today, witnessed the fire mock drill by the employees of AMRI Hospitals. He lauded the employees of the Hospital for their active participation in the fire mock drill. Around 200 employees of the Hospital participated in the training session.

During the week-long observance a host of activities were conducted, such as fire prevention training, fire mock drill, poster competition, awareness programmes and quiz competition.

Fire & Safety Department Head Santosh Kumar Prusti spoke about the importance of Fire Service Week and thanked the employees of AMRI Hospitals for the support and cooperation for organising the programme successfully.
