PPL contributes Rs. 60 lakh for development of three schools under ‘Mo School Abhiyan’

Accepting the proposals of the Odisha Government and the Jagatsinghpur District Administration to actively participate in the ‘Mo School Abhiyan’ scheme, Paradeep Phosphates Limited (PPL) has contributed Rs 60 lakh from its CSR fund for the development of three schools in the district.

PPL Chief Operating Officer Ranjit Singh Chugh handed over cheque worth a Rs 60 lakh to Jagatsinghpur Collector Sangram Keshari Mohapatra today, in presence of Sudhi Ranjan Mishra, Head-Corporate Affairs and Soumyashree Omprakash Shoo, Manager-CSR of PPL.

District Magistrate Mohapatra thanked PPL management for the noble gesture. 

The fund will be utilised in construction of Smart Class Rooms, e-Library etc. in            Brundaban High School, Markandpur; Bhagini Nivedita Vidyapith, Gopalpur; Radhakant Bidyamandir, Katara in Jagatsinghpur district, PPL said in a statement today.

As a responsible corporate citizen, PPL has extended support to the community and the government to fight against the Covid-19 pandemic, and reiterated its commitment to continue the support in future.
